Celebrate the One-Year Anniversary of the Ella B. Scarborough Community Resource Center This Saturday

Mecklenburg County will host Saturdays on Stitt, Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at the Ella B. Scarborough Community Resource Center, 430 Stitt Road, Charlotte, N.C. near Eastway Drive and North Tryon Street.

Learn about all the services you can find in this OnePlace. Grab a free treat, books, and school supplies. It’s the one-year anniversary of the Ella B. Scarborough Center and a party you don’t want to miss from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In One Place you can get information about:  

  • Medicaid
  • Food and Nutrition Services  
  • Child Support Services
  • Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) services
  • Veterans Services  
  • Job searches
  • Free mental health counseling  
  • And so much more…  

There will also be free entertainment and a pop-up market. The County is also partnering with others to spotlight additional services in our community. Visit with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Fill My Cup Adult Literacy, Meck Pre-K, Sugaw Creek Library, Mecklenburg County Women’s Advisory Board, and Carolina Farm Trust Food Pantry.  

The Ella B. Scarborough Community Resource Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
