The gathering provided an important opportunity for local leaders to share insights, network, identify strategies, and begin the process of aligning collective efforts to address community needs that Impact the quality of life in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg County area.

“Lack of coordination among government and non-government partners often results in duplicated work, missed opportunities, and blind spots,” said Mecklenburg County Manager Mike Bryant. “As county manager, I had the rare opportunity to be in a room full of my counterparts from various organizations. Our conversations and engagements will allow us to maximize our collective impact.”

This engagement comes as Mecklenburg County is working on developing and adopting a balanced scorecard that will be used to measure and demonstrate the progress that the County is making in all its ongoing quality of life efforts.
