Fun in the Sun: Get Ready to Register for Mecklenburg County Summer Camps

Start planning your summer by marking your calendar for Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation summer camp registration. Registration for camps will open March 5-7.  

Park and Recreation offers kids and teens a variety of camps: sports, aquatics, outdoor adventures, creativity and arts, technology, and beyond.  

Camps are listed now on Park and Recreation’s ActiveNet activity registration site

  • March 5: Registration for Eastway Regional Recreation Center and Northern Regional Recreation Center camps opens to Mecklenburg County residents.
     
  • March 6: Registration for camps at other recreation centers and nature centers, for therapeutic and inclusive recreation camps, and for aquatics camps, opens to Mecklenburg County residents.
     
  • March 7: Registration opens to nonresidents of Mecklenburg County. 

Summer camps are a great way to keep kids learning, active and healthy during the long break from school. Mecklenburg County offers a selection of formats, durations and locations, making the camp experience accessible and able to fit your needs.
