Listening Session: North Meck Neighbors Invited to Share Priorities with Commissioner Elaine Powell

Mecklenburg County residents are invited to share their priorities for northern Mecklenburg County during a listening session hosted by District One County Commissioner Elaine Powell.

The event will allow residents to share their thoughts and concerns with their elected representative ahead of the 2025 Mecklenburg County budget retreat. In addition to sharing their priorities, north Mecklenburg stakeholders will receive service updates from the Department of Park and Recreation and MEDIC.  

The listening session will be held:

• Thursday, Jan. 23
• 6 – 7:30 p.m.
• Northern Regional Recreation Center  
• 18121 Old Statesville Road, Cornelius, NC  28031

Light refreshments will be served. Residents are asked to register online no later than Jan. 20.
