LUESA Office Closed Due to Power Outage

LUESA Offices at Suttle Avenue from drone

Mecklenburg County's Land Use and Environmental Services Agency's (LUESA) office is closed Monday, March 13, 2023 starting at 11 a.m. due to a power outage. Customers will not be able to receive in-person services at the LUESA office location, 2145 Suttle Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28208.

Online and remote LUESA staff are continuing to work. Some online applications may be unavailable due to the power loss.

Departments affected by the power outage include Air Quality, Code Enforcement, Geospatial Information Services (GIS), Solid Waste & Recycling, and Storm Water Services.

Only the Suttle Avenue office location is affected. All other LUESA locations are open. Code enforcement inspectors will stay in the field. Residents who are dropping off recyclables or other materials can continue to use the County's Full-Service Drop-Off Centers.
