Mecklenburg County Invites Residents to Participate in Strategic Planning for Community Development Funding

Mecklenburg County is launching our 5-year Consolidated Planning process as required by the Dept. of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. This strategic planning process will gather input from the public and data which is intended to inform the allocation of federal dollars to create better housing, improve living environments, and increase economic opportunities, especially for low – and moderate-income individuals.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend two (2) Community Visioning Workshops and receive feedback about the process over the next several months. Residents in the towns and unincorporated areas of the County are invited to participate in the following Community Visioning Workshops:  

1st Community Visioning Workshop
