'Conservation Conversations' Speaker Series Launches Sept. 15

Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation is launching the second season of the "Conservation Conversations" speaker series Sept. 15.  

Through a series of presentation from environmental professionals, attendees will explore air quality, climate change, and prescribed fire and how they relate to environmental sustainability, stewardship, equity and justice. Each session will help attendees learn more about current conservation issues, efforts, and ways to get involved in the local environmental movement.  

Presentations are scheduled on the third Thursday of each month, running September 2022 through May 2023. Registration for in-person or virtual session can be made through the Park and Recreation website.
