Rotarians from Turkey Visit Community Resource Center
A delegation of Rotarians from Turkey traveled thousands of miles to visit our region. Fellow Rotarian County Manager Dena R. Diorio and staff hosted the group on Nov. 22.
"They’re coming here for about 12 days and they are seeing all different parts of our region. And one of the things they are going to do is visit with us in Mecklenburg County," said Diorio.
They toured our Community Resource Center (CRC) in west Charlotte, one of several planned CRCs across the county that will offer government and partner services in residents’ neighborhoods. The group says they will return to Turkey with this experience and advise their home leaders and communities.
