Provide Your Feedback on Plans to Address Housing and Community Development

Mecklenburg County invites you to review and provide feedback through July 21 on the 2025-2029 Five Year Consolidated Plan and the 2025 Annual Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant Program.

The program distributes annual grants to help communities create better housing, improve living environments, and increase economic opportunities, especially for low- and moderate-income individuals. It is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The plan documents are required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which funds the grant program.

The County will hold an in person public hearing on Thursday, July 17, at 3:30 p.m., at the Centralina Regional Council, 10735 David Taylor Drive in Charlotte, Carolinian Suite 250 to obtain feedback.
