Provide Your Feedback on Work Addressing Housing and Community Development in Mecklenburg County
Mecklenburg County has developed the draft HUD Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for the period of July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. The CAPER document is intended to provide residents with a summary of the annual accomplishments of the Mecklenburg County CDBG program, and the effect program activities have on low and moderate-income households
The 2024 CAPER is available for public review and comment for a 15-day period from Sept. 4- 24, 2025. Comments can be sent via mail to Centralina Regional Council located at 10735 David Taylor Drive, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28262, Attn: Lovetta Walton; or emailed to [email protected] or [email protected].
The County will hold an in person public hearing on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at 4 p.m., at Centralina Regional Council, to obtain feedback. If you wish to attend the meeting and would like to receive the meeting materials, please contact Lovetta Walton at 704-348-2702 or [email protected].
