Mecklenburg County is seeking to learn more about what our community’s veterans, their families, and supporters need from local service providers.

The Mecklenburg County Veteran and Military Community Needs Survey is open for veterans, families, and caregivers to offer their insights on services. The goal is to understand their needs, improve engagement, and build a clearer picture of the services needed for the county’s military-connected community.

Mecklenburg County Veterans Services, longtime local partner Veterans Bridge Home, and the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) at Syracuse University, are asking veterans and their supporters to participate in the survey. The questionnaire features questions about veterans’ needs, their experiences accessing resources for the military community, and how they would like to be engaged by veteran-serving organizations in the future.

The survey can be accessed at Veterans.MeckNC.gov. It is confidential and should take about 10 minutes to complete. The survey is open through Jan. 30, 2026.
