​Setting Budget Priorities: Commissioners Meet for Annual Retreat

The Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners will meet for its annual budget retreat to address fiscal policies and set its priorities as the County Manager prepares to develop the FY2023-2024 recommended budget.

The retreat will be held Central Piedmont Community College, Harris Conference Center, 3216 CPCC Harris Campus Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208:

  • Wednesday, Jan. 25, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Thursday, Jan. 26, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Friday, Jan. 27, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

County Manager Dena R. Diorio is scheduled to present her budget recommendation on May 18, with the Board adopting the FY2023-2024 budget on June 6. Residents will have multiple opportunities throughout the budget process to provide input, including a budget priority survey and a series of community workshops across the county.
