Share Your View. Shape Our Future. Survey Closes Feb. 28 for Mecklenburg County Residents to Indicate Priorities

Time is running out for Mecklenburg County residents to indicate their community priorities for next year’s budget. The resident survey is available at Budget.MeckNC.gov and closes on Friday, Feb. 28.
The survey is one of several ways residents can let Mecklenburg County leaders know what’s important to them when it comes to services and programs funded by their tax dollars. The survey takes minutes to complete and allows residents to indicate their priorities, how they feel about the level of funding for services, and what they feel are the community’s greatest needs.
The Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners and other County leaders are working now to craft a FY2025-2026 budget that is responsive to the needs and preferences of the community. In addition to the survey, residents will have other opportunities to provide input. County Manager Dena R. Diorio is scheduled to present her budget recommendation on May 15, a public hearing is scheduled for May 22, with the Board adopting the FY2025-2026 budget on June 3.
All meetings will be streamed live on Meck TV at Watch.MeckNC.gov. Residents can learn more about the budget process at Budget.MeckNC.gov.
