Share Your View. Shape Our Future. Survey Open for Residents to Indicate Mecklenburg County Priorities

Mecklenburg County leaders want to hear what residents think. Mecklenburg County’s resident survey for the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget is now open at Budget.MeckNC.gov.
The survey is one of several ways residents can let Mecklenburg County leaders know what’s important to them when it comes to services and programs funded by their tax dollars. The survey takes minutes to complete and allows residents to indicate their priorities, how they feel about the level of funding for services, and what they feel are the community’s greatest needs.
The resident budget survey launches as the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners holds its annual budget retreat, Jan. 29-31. The Board and other County leaders are working to craft a FY2025-2026 budget that is responsive to the needs and preferences of the community. In addition to the survey, residents will have other opportunities to provide input. County Manager Dena R. Diorio is scheduled to present her budget recommendation on May 15, a second public hearing is scheduled for May 22, with the Board adopting the FY2025-2026 budget on June 3.
All meetings will be streamed live on Meck TV at Watch.MeckNC.gov. Residents can learn more about the budget process at Budget.MeckNC.gov.
