Chair Jerrell focused on collaboration with community partners and the great strides made in improving the lives of residents, especially as it pertains to the Board’s budget priorities, which last year included $153 million in new funding. He offered an update on accomplishments and challenges within each priority, which last year included:
- Early Childhood Development
- Educational Attainment
- Environmental Stewardship
- Health Access
- Housing Insecurity
- Workforce Development
- Racial Disparities
In addition to the Board priorities, Chair Jerrell delivered an update on the County’s legislative priorities and economic development.
