Sundown Sounds Music Series is Back in 2025

Turn up the volume on your summer nights! The Sundown Sounds Music Series is set to bring the beat to three Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation locations on select nights from June through August.

This free, family-friendly concert series is your ticket to an unforgettable summer of music, food and fun under the stars. From high-energy rock to smooth soul and everything in between, each show features top-notch live performances that will have you dancing on the lawn.

Concerts will be hosted at Eastway Regional Recreation Center, Pearl Street Park and Ramsey Creek Beach. Music begins at 7:30 p.m. each night.

• Friday, July 18: Too Much Sylvia at Ramsey Creek Beach
• Thursday, July 24: The Queens Court at Eastway Regional Recreation Center
• Thursday, Aug. 7: Foo 4 You at Pearl Street Park  
• Friday, Aug. 15: Gary Lowder & The Smokin Hot at Ramsey Creek Beach
• Thursday, Aug. 21: DK Harrell at Eastway Regional Recreation Center

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Local food trucks will be onsite. Beer will be available for purchase by adults 21 years and older (no outside alcohol is permitted).
