Touch-A-Truck Returns

Mecklenburg County Solid Waste & Recycling will host its annual Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Compost Central Disposal & Recycling Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Kids (and kids at heart) will have the opportunity to touch and explore vehicles from Solid Waste and other local organizations. Attendees can expect to see tractors, bulldozers and other large vehicles! Entry is free.

During this event, tours of the facility will also be offered, and food vendors will be on-site. This is a rain-or-shine event.
